Insan al-Ayyun in the biography of al-Amin al-Ma'mun, known as the Aleppo biography
It is a book in three parts and has been reprinted repeatedly, and in the margins of its first editions was the Book of the Prophet’s Biography of Imam Ahmad Zaini Dahlan to complete this benefit and that the majority of Sufis prefer the biography of Dahlan, but this great book is no less important than him.

He is a Shafi’i sect and a Sufi, and most likely the Shadhili of the Order, and he mentioned in his introduction his sheikhs and their sheikhs, including “Muhammad Abu al-Hasan Taj al-Arifin al-Bakri al-Siddiqi” and has many collections and many books, and he is one of those who received from “Abu Yahya Zakaria bin Muhammad bin Ahmed bin Zakaria al-Ansari” known for his knowledge, knowledge and piety And righteousness, and he is one of the mystical men of God’s people, and Zakaria Al-Ansari used to accompany the Sufis of his time and read their books, and from his childhood he loved the gatherings of remembrance, and he continued to follow the path of Sufism until some scholars advised him to cover that, so he did, and he hardly pretended anything about the conditions of the people. Bilad al-Sham came to Egypt and was blind, so he asked the sheikh to pray for him that God restore his sight to him, so he prayed to God and restored his sight to him, and this veiled man was mentioned in the book Jami` Karmat al-Awliya’ by al-Nabhani, vol. 2, p. 80.

It is clear that the author of this book followed the style of his sheikhs in covering up a bit about his doctrine of Sufism, so you will find in this book some of what Ibn Taymiyyah and others say to Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyya, even if they are very few, but at the same time there I say to a large number of Sufis, including Imam Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi, Imam Al-Shadhili, Imam Al-Junaid and others; At the end of the chapter: His naming him Muhammad and Ahmad, in the first part, he mentioned something about the celebration of the Prophet’s birthday and did not deny that and said that it is one of the good innovations and came with conclusive evidence and bright answers.
