The book “Man of the Eyes” in the biography of Al-Amin Al-Ma’mun, known as the Aleppo biography

It is a three-part book that was printed several times, and in the margin of its first editions was the book The Biography of the Prophet by Imam Ahmed Zaini Dahlan, to complete the benefit, and that the majority of Sufis prefer Dahlan’s biography, but this venerable book is no less important than it.

He is a Shafi’i sect and a Sufi, and most likely a Shadli of the order. He mentioned in his introduction his sheikhs and their sheikhs, including “Muhammad Abu Al-Hasan Taj Al-Arifin Al-Bakri Al-Siddiqi.” He has many books and numerous books, and he is one of those who learned from “Abu Yahya Zakaria bin Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Zakaria Al-Ansari,” who is known for his knowledge, knowledge, and piety. Al-Salah is one of the Sufi men of God’s people. Zakaria al-Ansari used to accompany the Sufis of his time and read their books. Since his childhood, he loved dhikr gatherings, and he continued to follow the path of Sufism until some scholars advised him to cover that up, so he did so. He hardly pretended to be a part of the people’s conditions. Al-Shaarani mentions that a merchant from The Levant came to Egypt and was blind, so he asked the sheikh to pray for him that God would restore his sight to him, so he prayed to God and God would restore his sight to him. This revelation was mentioned in the book Jami’ Karamat Al-Awliya’ by Al-Nabhani, vol. 2, p. 80.

It is clear that the author of this book followed the method of his sheikhs in concealing some of his doctrine of Sufism. In this book you will find some of the words of Ibn Taymiyyah and others of Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, even if they are very few. However, at the same time, there I am saying to a large number of people of Sufism, including Imam Muhyiddin. Ibn Arabi, Imam Al-Shazli, Imam Al-Junaid and others; At the end of - Chapter: Calling him, peace and blessings of God be upon him, Muhammad and Ahmad - in the first part, he mentioned something about celebrating the Prophet’s birthday, and he did not deny that and said that it was a good innovation, and he came with conclusive evidence and clear answers.
