The MapCo MapGuide to Washington D.C. is an educational based Map Guide to the city's main historical and political sites.

It describes the main historical sites, museums, and political centers and provides the user their relative location to each. Each site has a live Google map that takes the user directly to the location in question.

This app describes only the sites of historical significance; there are no restaurants or hotels etc., so it could be very useful to guide a field trip or for educational purposes
