"El Mono" Sánchez, was born in Duitama, grew up in the Sector Seminario del Barrio the progress of the pearl of Boyacá, 33 years ago.

According to his friends the Monkey is a man with a big heart, according to others who know his work he is a critical analyst of public acting. His greatest joy is sharing with his family; His Parents, his Brother, his little daughter Sarita and his Girlfriend are the greatest motivation in life; the family for the monkey is the fundamental basis of everything, the essence and the most valuable thing that a human can have.

Always a sports lover, recognized basketball player in his school days, today in his spare time he practices cycling which has allowed him to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Boyacá and appreciate the natural wealth of the department. Soccer fan, Patriotas always recognizes the Boyacenses team and their feat of promoting and staying in the professional league. When time permits, he shares with his father the Colombian soccer games on television. He is also a frequent practitioner of yew and bolirana.

El Mono Sánchez is a Boyacense like many of us: attached to his family, pleasant and committed, a tireless worker, resourceful and a good friend. The son of teachers, he considers that a quality education is the tool for progress and social well-being.

He is passionate about reading, a promoter of Boyacá culture, a good conversationalist, restless and curious. With a great vocation for service, Guillermo is a defender of democracy and the rights of all without any ideological distinction, respectful of the institutionality; with a deep love for Boyacá and Colombia.

El Mono is a lawyer and he discovered from a very young age his vocation for public service thanks to the teachings of his parents, in such a way that today he combines his profession with tireless work in solving conflicts and the search for equity, thus building, step by step his vision of a better society.

His love for his land motivates him to work for a Better Boyacá, far from hatred and divisions in which we all have opportunities to PROGRESS, to the point that for 15 years his efforts have been focused on serving Boyacá and Colombia.
