When using SketchUp on your iPad and iPhone without a paid subscription, you are still able to explore and present your 3D projects for FREE; here’s how:
-Navigate your projects using intuitive multi-touch gestures.
-View your projects from any of the standard views or custom scenes.
-Switch between perspective and orthographic camera views.
-Turn Tags on or off to control the visibility of parts of your model.
-Adjust the look and feel of your model by controlling Edge and Face styles, Shadows, Hidden Geometry, Section Planes, and Section Cuts.
-Take measurements and get information about edge lengths, the area of faces, the volume of solids, and component and group definitions.
-Merge your models with the world around you by viewing them in augmented reality.

REQUIREMENTS

The AR model viewing feature uses ARKit and is compatible with iPhone 6s and newer, iPad Pro, or any 2017 iPad or newer.

SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS
SketchUp lets you create and edit 3D models on iPad via an in-app subscription of $119 USD per year. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account on confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before your subscription expiration date. Your account will be charged $119 USD for renewal within 24-hours prior to your subscription expiration date. You can manage your subscriptions at any time, and/or turn off auto-renew, by visiting your Account Settings after your initial purchase is complete.

If you are a SketchUp Free user, please note that you will only be able to access the free viewing features on your iPad or iPhone.

What's new in v6.4.1 (2037) – Create rendered images in seconds using GenAI with SketchUp Diffusion! SketchUp Diffusion is a new feature that allows you to combine an image of your active SketchUp viewport with a text prompt to create a new, AI-generated image. Diffusion offers a number of options that allow you to define the visual style of the rendered image and control the extent to which either the snapshot of your SketchUp model and/or the text-based prompt, influence the output:• You can access Diffusion from the overflow tool palette (top row).• Once the Diffusion panel is open, you’ll see a snapshot of your SketchUp model viewport and can add a prompt that describes the image you’d like to generate.• Style presets offer shortcuts to generate images with a specific aesthetic.• Settings sliders provide control over the extent to which either your SketchUp model or the text prompt influences the rendered output.• After tapping the Generate button, you’ll see that the service returns three variations that you can tap on to preview.• Add Scene lets you save a selected image as an overlay in your SketchUp viewport.• You also have the option to share/save a selected image.• You can use the Refresh button located in the top right corner of the Preview image to update the input for Diffusion with a fresh snapshot of the SketchUp viewport.• Learn More will take you to the Help Center.• Feedback will take you to the main SketchUp Diffusion section here in the SketchUp Forums.Snaps – SketchUp for iPad now includes the Snaps capability that launched recently in SketchUp for Desktop.• Any existing snaps in your model become visible when tools that can interact with them are active.• You also have the option to add snaps to an object.
