YUBI is a next generation parental control app developed to provide safe YouTube Video & Internet content for kids. Unlike other classical parental control apps providing mainly adult content filtering; YUBI allows you to control & shape your kid’s YouTube video and web use.

Using Yubi's Video Management feature, you can select the YouTube channels & videos that you would like your kid to watch. You can also set the keywords that your kid can search for on YouTube which gives you extra flexibility that YouTube Kids cannot provide.

Additionally you can control the video screen time by setting daily limits & mandatory breaks. With its rich content based filters & controls added on top, you’ll control completely the YouTube video & web adventure of your kids.

After installing Yubi, make sure that the "Video Applications" setting is set to "Not Allowed". Then Yubi will disable the access to all video apps incl. YouTube, Netflix, Vimeo etc. When your kid attempts to access one of these video apps, instead of displaying a warning message; Yubi will stop the clicked app or web site from loading online content. It will look like there is a temporary connection problem and your kids will start using Yubi naturally to watch YouTube videos. This allows the kids not to feel restricted while their parents completely control of the video & web experience of their kids.

YUBI is a kids-friendly video app as it’s designed in a smart way with the same look & feel of a kids video app like YouTube Kids. Therefore the kids don’t consider it as a parental control app and do not attempt to uninstall it. Since the other video watching platforms do not function as usual after YUBI, it becomes kids' favorite tool to watch YouTube videos.

Yubi can also be considered a good alternative to YouTube Kids as it comes with carefully selected default & recommended YouTube watch lists specific for your country and child age. Our safe YouTube Video & Channel lists are also reviewed and tested by real mams! Using these as baseline you can add more depending on family preferences and child interests. You can also set your allowed search keywords and others not specified will be in the block list. So, the video experience of your kid will be shaped by you in a safe way which is not doable in many parental control app including YouTube Kids.

While designing YUBI we focused on minimizing the side affects of YouTube & online video activity on kids. Unlike other video platforms; Yubi does not display “related videos” to kids which causes them to jump from one video to another and eventually leads to concentration & focus problems in later education years. With YUBI, your kid will watch the pre-selected videos only without being shown any related video.

YUBI also offers instant video stop feature which allows you to stop your kid's video activity remotely. When you click on the “Stop” button; the YouTube video activity of your kid will stop immediately.

You can activate safe search across all search engines so whatever your kid searches on the Internet safely.

You can also block ads fully on web & 3rd party apps and also enable/disable access to adult, gambling, dating, social media and online games. You can also block the access to app stores and allow apps to be installed with your permission only.

- Yubi does not display videos restricted by their publishers
- Your network provider may charge extra fees for the internet use while streaming videos when you are not on WiFi
- Yubi is a 3rd party app and therefore does not have direct control over the YouTube Videos displayed
