The book contains information about the most famous wine producers from the greatest wine-growing regions of the world (which, unfortunately, is not always a guarantee of quality), as well as an assessment of many wines that have already appeared on the market or are expected in the near future. So if readers do not find here information about the specific harvest of highly valued wine, then they will have at their disposal a host of other information concerning the best producers in each wine region. The reader can have no doubt: he is hardly mistaken in choosing wine (of course, excluding those cases when the harvest of a given year was considered absolutely unsuccessful) from the producer, rated in this manual as “outstanding” or “excellent”. These winemakers are famous all over the world for the high level of their wines and consistent quality. Of course, taste is a subjective category, but I tried to do my best to create an impartial and complete guide for customers, which is based on ratings (based on the number of stars) of the best winemakers in the world.

Each section dedicated to a particular wine region has a structure that includes elements such as:
1. Overview of the wine region
2. Shopping strategy
3. A brief overview of the quality of recent crops in this region.
4. A brief reference table on the best winemakers and winegrowers in the region
5. Tasting comments, numerical assessment of wine and the average retail price for a bottle of wine with a capacity of 750 ml.

The wine regions, whose products are most widely represented in wine shops, are described in much more detail than regions whose wines are rarely found in the United States or are not exported here at all. Accordingly, the largest place in the book is given to wines and winemakers of Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Alsace and the Rhone Valley in France; Piedmont and Tuscany in Italy; as well as California, because these areas produce the greatest wines in the world. Each section provides a detailed description of the most and least successful producers of the region, as well as the most valuable wines of the region.
