The restaurant was founded in 1904 in conjunction with a butcher. Since 1938 it is family owned. For many years, the restaurant is a popular destination for travelers from near and far and is appreciated by their good and reasonably priced food. The mountain village Maxen, the inn is located in the town center is located 8 km south of Dresden and is framed by an impressive silhouette of mountains. Our menu offers also provides quality, seasonal and vegetarian dishes as well as specialties in addition to 10 permanent staff dishes. All meals are freshly prepared in our modern kitchen and can also be served as child and elder dishes. Several times a year we offer in addition to our regular courts also quality, seasonal specialties and other culinary events.
