"Poisons & Remedies of Amazonia" is an account of the journey through medicinal herbs and my conversations with Masheñ Chomoch and some members of the native Ashaninka-Yanesha 'San Jeronimo' Community in Puerto Yurinaki, in the Selva Central of the Peruvian Amazon. The app/book can be read as a mini-story immersed in indigenous botany and consists of 10 chapters, 37 photographs and 2 video clips. This app is in no way to be considered a medical handbook but rather a mini-book of curiosities about some of the ancient remedies used by the Ashaninka and Yanesha of this area that maybe can serve as a guide for your research.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Once the application is installed, the splash screen appears and then you can use the menu or, with a simple touch, go directly to the interactive index of the book. On some pages there is a button at the bottom of the text to play the in-depth video. Using the menu you can go directly to the beginning or to the index.

IMPORTANT: I would like to point out that this app DOES NOT USE sensors or even geolocation programs.
This application is independent of any of our other titles and works in its entirety without special permissions or links to external resources.

This application is just a book with written text in English and contains:
- The table of contents, preface, author's notes, introduction, n.10 text chapters with photos, n.2 videoclips with English subtitles and glossary.
