Surah Luqman is the thirty-first surah within the twenty-first part of the Holy Qur’an, and it is one of the Meccan surahs, and its name is taken from verse (13). It talks about the greatness of the Holy Qur’an, and about the signs of God in the creation of the sky, the creation of mountains, the descent of rain, and the growth of plants.

Among its well-known verses is the Almighty’s saying in verse (19): There are many narrations about the virtue of reading it, including what was narrated on the authority of the Prophet (PBUH): Whoever recites Surah Luqman will be his companion on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be given ten good deeds according to the number of those who do good and forbid evil.
