In Mecca, Surah Mulk was revealed. Surah Mulk is a smartphone application that allows Muslims all around the world to listen to the Holy Quran's special Chapter.
The Quran is blessed in its whole, and we have been informed of specific blessings for certain passages of the Quran. Surah Mulk is one such Surah about which we have been informed of its blessing.

"I wish that "Blessed is the Dominion" would be in the heart of every believer," said the Messenger of Allah (P.B.U.H), according to Ibn Abbas. (Al-Hakim, Al-Mustadrak 1/253, and Qurtabi, 17/205.)

"When the deceased are laid in their graves," Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud said, "it comes in front of his legs and says, "There is no way for you here as he used to perform the Surah Al-Mulk." "There is no way for you because he used to recite Surah Al-Mulk," it would say to his tongue as it stood in front of his head. "It is a protector against Allah's punishment," he continued. "Whoever recites the Surah Al-Mulk has expanded and become more fragrant," says the Torah. (Al-Qurtabi 18/205; Al-Qurtabi 18/205.)
"It is a guardian; a rescuer; protecting from the punishment of the grave," the Messenger of Allah (may Allah pour peace and blessings upon him) remarked, according to Ibn Abbas. (Al-Hakim and At-Tirmidhi.)
"I have found in Allah's book a Surah thirty passages long; whomever reads it while he sleeps thirty good deeds are written for him; thirty wrong actions are removed, and he is promoted thirty degrees," Ibn Abbas adds. Allah sends an angel to cover him with his wings and guard him from harm till he awakens. Tabarak alldhi biyadihi l-Mulku is the disputer who contends for its reader in the grave."
