The Shafi’is said that the Eid prayer is performed aloud, two rak’ahs. And a surah of the Qur’an, and it is Sunnah to read Surat Al-Ala, and the second rak’ah is performed starting with the basmalah, then the recitation of Al-Fatihah, and another surah, and it is Sunnah to read Surat Al-Gashiya, then three takbirs are performed before bowing.[3]

Then the imam delivers two sermons to the people after completing the prayer. The first sermon begins with nine takbeers, and the second with seven takbirs. He sits between the two sermons for a short time. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said. and commands them). [4][3]
