Release the radio station and as long as the application is in background mode, the radio will play, and a notification will appear allowing you to shortcut the radio station or lift the application from background mode.

You can select the option to turn off the radio together with closing the application (which is the default option), or to allow the radio station to be interrupted even though you switch off the application.
