Neumorphic BMI Calculator

About: Neumorphic BMI Calculator

Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to adult men and women. The BMI is defined as the body mass divided by the square of the body height, and is universally expressed in units of kg/m², resulting from mass in kilograms and height in metres.

The BMI ranges are based on the effect excessive body fat has on disease and death and are reasonably well related to adiposity. BMI was developed as a risk indicator of disease; as BMI increases, so does the risk for some diseases. Some common conditions related to overweight and obesity include: premature death, cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, osteoarthritis, some cancers and diabetes.

Calculating BMI :

To calculate BMI in metric units, use the following method: BMI = kg/m2

To calculate an adult’s BMI: Divide their weight in kilograms (kg) by the square of their height in meters (m2)
