Sleeping with your baby, sharing the bed, the family bed, co-sleeping: beyond the name we give it, it means usually sleeping in the same bed with your child instead of sleeping in separate beds.
Children who sleep with their mothers are less stressed than children who sleep alone. What's more, children who fall asleep on their mother's breast rest better than those who spend the night in a crib.
Children's brain development can also vary depending on where they spend the night, since it seems that the separation of the child and the mother and father every night, if it generates fear and stress in children, could lead to behavior problems in adulthood.
