What is robux ?
robux is a free gaming platform, where anyone can use robux software to create their own game for others to play. This means players can join an endless number of different worlds, all of which are different types of games created by other players. robux was first released on PC in 2005 and then officially released in 2006.

The robux Parent's Guide aptly defines the game as "the world's largest interactive gaming platform that lets kids imagine, create, and play together in immersive 3D worlds."

Most of the kids in my camp have played obstacle courses, superhero workouts, or hide-and-seek.

The speed at which these campers were creating such games in the free editor really surprised me. I would ask a student what he was doing, and I would get a response like, "Making a game for me and my friend." Wondering if he could really do a full game on a short break, I asked him how easy it was.



Before I could even formulate my next thought, the camper created a whole new world that hadn't existed five minutes earlier. Then, with the push of a button, he published his world on the robux site and his friend had already joined.

It was then that I realized that this new platform was clearly the way of the future.
