The most popular Jon Elia was born in December 14, 1931 & died on November 8, 2002. He was a Famous poet of Urdu Language, philosopher, biographer, and scholar of Pakistan. He was the brother of journalist Rais Amrohvi and Syed Muhammad Taqi, and husband of columnist Zahida Hina. He was good at Arabic, English, Persian, Sanskrit and Hebrew. Jaun Elia first collection of poetry “Shayad” was published in 1991, when he was 60. Jaun Elia introduction in this collection provided in-depth of his works and the culture within which he was conveying his ideas.
