Kite Kerala
Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE) is a state-owned private purpose company under the Education Department of the Kerala State Government. It was developed to support ICT-enabled education for schools in Kerala. The previous IT @ School project was switched to KITE to expand its operations in August 2017. KITE was the first SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) company to receive funding from KIIFB (Kerala State Infrastructure Investment Fund Board).
Victers
KITE is the primary agency for the implementation of the EDUSAT network, and operates an exclusive education channel called VICTERS (a versatile ICT resource for students), which is broadcast from 6 am to 11 pm. The India Reign created the first EDUSAT broadband network for schools, opened by VICTERS by A P J Abdul Kalam, President of India, on July 28, 2005, in Thiruvananthapuram. VICTERS offers interactive virtual classes that enable school students and teachers to communicate directly with the subject and pedagogical experts. It also ensures the publication of high-quality education for students and teachers from the original source.
