Prof. Ustaz Dr. H. Abdul Somad Batubara, Lc., M.A., Ph.D. or also known as Ustaz Abdul Somad (Arabic and Jawi script: عبد الصمد; born May 18, 1977) is an Indonesian scholar from Asahan, North Sumatra. He has been known for his lectures referring to various topics of conversation on religion, particularly with regard to the studies of hadith and the philosophy of Islamic jurisprudence/jurisprudence. In addition, he often discusses various topics of conversation that are popular now in a public and local community as Muslims, among them are those on matters of national taste.

His preaching and lectures are characterized by the diversity of his ability to speak and his sense of humor which can attract the interest of the general public, and often his lectures are broadcast through YouTube channels and other social media. [2] [3] He is currently a lecturer at the Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau Islamic State University in the Riau province.
