Unlike official history, which has been stepping through the past with great strides
of time, the story of the ship sunk at Gnalić is full of personal human destinies
that conveyed the story of the late Renaissance throughout Europe and the Mediterranean
time. On the permanent connection between Venice and Constantinople, the ship Gagliana grossa used to be
Lezza, Moceniga e Basadonna, symbolically linked the two apparently opposing,
but tightly interwoven with the world. Amazing objects that are four centuries old
spent on the seafloor briefly made him famous in the sixties and seventies
years of the last century, but it only came to its glory during the last
a few years when the scientific community finally reached out to the innumerable
information hidden in museum collections, shipwrecks, and
in archival material. First of all, it should be noted that this book is the result of work
