Chimp Memory Game

About: Chimp Memory Game

How does your memory compare to a chimp? It's found that chimpanzees can complete this test within seconds. Can you?

Select easy mode to see what it's like from the chimp's perspective. They can react on hard mode just as easily as we react on easy mode. It is thought that chimps need this extremely precise short term memory to detect danger in the wild. Humans have evolved out of this, as we no longer need it and we may be using the brain capacity for other functions. Is it possible to strengthen your memory and get back what we have lost?

Try hard mode to compare your short term memory to a chimp's. Challenge yourself to not only get it correct but get faster as you train your brain to remember.
