This app measures the crowd density in the venue of Jaarbeurs during our fairs. Through this app, visitors and employees of Jaarbeurs get real time insight into crowd density per area.

Jaarbeurs Welcome uses the world's leading technology based on bluetooth and geomagnetic fields to anonymously detect the indoor location of Jaarbeurs visitors. The density in the Jaarbeurs complex is calculated based on the position of visitors.

The density of the audience is shown on the floor plans in the app with the colors green, yellow and red. We recommend avoiding the red areas on the map and adjust your schedule during your visit.

In order to use the app, we ask you to access the bluetooth and the location data of your phone. The privacy of users is strictly protected, because we do not collect and store any username, password, telephone number, email address or other personal information.

This app is made by IndoorAtlas, a partner of Samsung. IndoorAtlas is the data controller of the app, information on what data IndoorAtlas processes can be found in the privacy statement of IndoorAtlas. Jaarbeurs does not receive any personal data. Jaarbeurs only receives crowd density level information in the venue and anonymous data about the number of people who installed the app in a certain area.
