Don Massimo is named for my father, who always dreamed of having a coffee farm in Columbia. He achieved his dream in 2013, when he bought Vila Maria, a place with a rich history of producing amazing coffee, and nestled in the lush tropical mountains of Fredonia, outside Medlin (a popular coffee growing region). After much hard work cultivating our crops, we started producing the coffee you know and love. Starting with our core range, Don also used his farming skills and knowledge of great coffee to produce small batch specialty coffee, released each season, using the different types of arabica beans that the columbian region is so well known for. Each bean is hand-picked by local workers, then washed by the river on the farm. After sun-drying on the porch, all the beans are roasted to perfection and then packaged in Columbia in 250 gram bags (ensuring the beans stay fresh right until you are ready to use them).
