The Siemens Building technology app provides an interactive and engaging experience with actionable information to help building owners, facility managers, contractors and architects make better decisions. This helps them achieve their objectives to become smarter, more efficient and provide more sustainable buildings.

Sleek navigation, and 3-D modeling and animation are just a few of the features in the BT app. Real-time sharing capability (with the support of an Internet connection) allows users to share a link to a specific page of the app, or send information of interest via email to colleagues or peers.

Users can navigate to specific areas of interest within the app, including commercial buildings and data centers. In addition to the data center and commercial vertical sections, the Building technology app also includes high-level overviews, results, assets and sharing capabilities for seven additional vertical markets including: higher education, healthcare, life science, oil, gas and petrochemical, Federal government, K-12 schools, and state & local government.

Touch points on the commercial building scene will allow a user to learn about fire control, building automation, security and other areas critical to ensure energy-efficient, safe and secure buildings and infrastructure.

Users will be able to experience a personalized view inside a commercial building by prompting the user to enter data about their specific situation. This data may be used to visualize the business or environmental impact of adapting fire controls, building automation, security or more. Such users include building owners, facility managers, contractors and architects.

DATA CENTERS APP EXPERIENCE OVERVIEW
The data center interactive experience provides an overview of today’s top market segments within data centers, and provides a targeted experience. A 3-D tour of the VelociRack™ integrated rack offering animates its full details and capabilities—from fixed security cameras to the patented horizontal drawers that contain high-density automation points, and more.
