Improve your mental clarity
There is a lot that happens to us on a day-to-day basis. If you’re lucky, you have people to share that with, but sometimes we don’t want to burden people with our problems or we can’t find the words so we hold it in.
This causes us to feel mentally and emotionally burdened, and may even feel like a weight is on our shoulders. Bare Chats helps you offload this weight by creating a space where you can pour your thoughts and emotions out.
Other times, we want to begin our journey to self-love and care yet don’t know what to write about. Gratitude is a great place to start, but what else? Depending on your mood or the topic you’re interested in, there's a prompt that fits to help you get started.
Be raw, authentic, and real
Sometimes, we’re scared to be judged for how we feel or the thoughts we have. We may go to therapy, yet hold ourselves back (knowingly or unknowingly). It may feel weird to have someone else know you THAT well. So, let’s start with you. The most important part is that you know you, and you are as honest with yourself as possible.
There is nothing “too bad”, “off-limits”, or “shame-inducing” that you can’t share with yourself. You may be able to get away with lying to others, but you can’t lie to yourself for too long.
To be aware of your thoughts/emotions and not pass judgment is where we help you get to.
How does it work?
When you start the app, you will create a user profile. The information collected here will be used to provide you more specific and relevant prompts (ex., if you aren’t a student, no need to ask you how your semester is going!)
Start a free-write journaling session or choose a prompt!
Each journaling session is encrypted, we convert your information into a secret code after you save it which hides the information's true meaning. This means that no one but you will be able to read your entries! (*sigh of relief*)
After a few sessions, you will see your Mental Wellness Check that provides you with insights into the progress you’ve made during your journaling sessions. By leveraging your entries, we’ll show you your average mood, most selected prompts/topics, time spent, and much more!
Bare Chats Premium
We offer a 7-day free trial, then a monthly or annual subscription. Prices are displayed on the app.
Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase.
Your subscription will automatically renew itself, unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings in the iTunes Store.
If offered, if you choose to use our free trial, any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
