Your rights @ work is an educational mobile application that informs young people about their employment rights.
Your rights @ job application displays basic information about labor market rights and obligations through a quiz. Through the application, by answering the questions and earning points, you will quickly learn the rights and obligations and you will gain the knowledge needed to enter the labor market with confidence.
The topics are organized into chapters: Employment contract, social security, working conditions and health and safety at work. Each chapter contains 3 quizzes. Two quizzes are ordinary, with questions, and one is a quiz with stories, which describes a real situation.
With each quiz, you can test your knowledge, get new information, repeat and check what you have learned. For each completed quiz you collect points for yourself and for the school in which you applied.
What you will learn:
- what is employment and what are the basic elements of the contract: minimum age and salary, probationary and dismissal periods, termination of the contract, termination;
- standard rules for employment and rights of employees: standard working hours for young people, overtime work, vacations, paid and unpaid leave;
- safe working environment and safety culture at the workplace: responsibility of the employer for safe working environment, rights of employees in case of dangerous working conditions, health service, accident at work;
- social security rights: social security, taxation, disability coverage and discrimination.
