Easy to use on the go: The HSK BCT YCT Chinese Test Words app is a convenient aide for learning and reviewing Chinese words on the go. Every minute of your time is valuable, so the app will enable you to use your time with maximum efficiency.
Flashcards and writing features: You may learn and review words by either going through flashcards or practicing by writing out these Chinese words. In flashcard mode, you may choose to study words either from English to Chinese / pinyin, or from Chinese to English / pinyin.
Pre-set official word lists for HSK, BCT and YCT: The app contains 5,000 required Chinese words for all six HSK levels published in the official up to date list on www.testchinese.cn, as well as 4,050 words for BCT A and BCT B and 711 words for all four levels of YCT. The words for HSK are broken down into six separate standard lists corresponding to each HSK level, the words for BCT are broken down into BCT A and BCT B lists, while the words for YCT are broken into four lists for each YCT level. You may choose to go through and learn those standard pre-set up lists.
Convenient word/file/folder management: The enhanced benefit of this app is that you can create your own customized lists from the provided official word vocabulary of about 6,250 unique words for all three tests (this list includes all 5,000 words for HSK, 4,050 words for BCT and 711 words for YCT). Using words searched through either English translation or pinyin, you can create additional lists to target the words you need to learn and review. For example, you can read a text in Chinese and then create a separate list with new words from this text for further review.
You can conveniently create an unlimited number of customized word lists and folders with an unlimited number of words in each list out of the official word vocabulary for all three official Chinese language tests. For example, you can set up a list of words named HSK 4-10-5 corresponding to Level #4, lesson #10 and text #5. This list could be included in a folder named HSK 4-10, which could be included in a folder named HSK 4. You can manage the lists and folders by editing their names and by relocating these lists and folders using the drag-and-drop function.
Daily and overall progress tracking: This app tracks and monitors the daily progress made compared to the daily target set by you in the Settings tab (from 10 to 1,000 words per day), as well as your overall progress in learning Chinese words, both separately for flashcards and writing.
