Do you know what a ninja is? If you think that they were superheroes that had special powers of invisibility and waved swords around, you’d be wrong. Ninjas were people who lived in Japan around 1500–1700, and practiced the art of ninjitsu (say “nin-JIT-soo”), which means ‘the art of stealth’ or ‘the art of invisibility.’ So most ninjas were super-sneaky spies, who used a lot of cool techniques to hide and get information.
