Kachin News Group (KNG) is an ethnic Kachin news-based news group. KNG was founded in 2003 by pro-democracy Kachin students. Its office is at Myitkyina, Kachin state and it is the first Kachin mainstream media and the first independent ethnic Kachin media outlet after the 1988 countrywide pro-democracy uprising in military-rooted Burma.
