Welcome to FIGHTER NOT KILLER, a quiz that will enable you to test your knowledge of the Laws of Armed Conflict.

WAR HAS LIMIT AND NOT EVERYTHING IS ALLOWED

Can you target a hospital if the enemy is shooting from it? Can you accept youngsters as combatants if you are not sure they are over 18 years old? Can you pretend to surrender as a ruse? Are police forces legitimate targets?

You will find all the answers in this quiz. You will be taken through 28 scenarios covering topics such as tactics of warfare, basic rights, healthcare and aid, weapons or child protection. When you have completed all 6 topics you may move on to the Commander Level with more complex scenarios.

The application has been developed by Geneva Call to promote the respect of the Laws of Armed Conflict (international humanitarian norms) in particular those related to the protection of civilians in armed conflict.

هل يحق لك استهداف مستشفى إذا كان العدو متمركز فيها و يطلق النار منه؟ هل يمكنك قبول شباب مقاتلين إن لم تكن متأكداً من بلوغهم ال-١٨ من عمرهم؟ هل يجوز التداعي بالإستسلام كخدعة؟ هل تعتبر القوى الأمنية هدف مشروع؟

ستجد كل الأجوبة في هذا الإختبار. سوف تعبر ٢٨ سيناريو تم وضعهم لتغطية مواضيع مختلفة مثل التكتيكات الحربية، الحقوق الأساسية، الرعاية الصحية و المساعدات، الأسلحة أو حماية الأطفال. عند إكمالك المواضيع ال ٦ يمكنك المتابعة وصولاً إلى مستوى القائد الذي يتضمن سيناريوهات أكثر تعقيداً.

لقد تم تطوير هذا التطبيق من قبل نداء جنيف لتشجيع إحترام قوانين النزاعات المسلحة (المبادئ الإنسانية الدولية) و على وجه الخصوص القوانين المتعلقة بحماية المدنيين في النزاعات المسلحة.

نداء جنيف منظمة غير حكومية مركزها في جنيف سويسرا و هي تعمل على جذب الفعاليات من غير الدول (ثوار، مجموعات مسلحة، حركات تحرير، سلطات ذو التعيين الذاتي/معينة ذاتياً) نحو إحترام المبادئ الإنسانية الدولية و على وجه الخصوص القوانين المتعلقة بحماية المدنيين في النزاعات المسلحة.
