Feelings of isolation, disconnection, and loneliness have been shown in numerous studies to negatively impact not only our mental health, but physical health as well! Living with ACL (Awareness, Courage and Love) as we practice them can help overcome these barriers to becoming your best self.

In January of 2015, Co-creator of Functional Analytic Psychotherapy, Dr. Mavis Tsai launched the Live with Awareness, Courage and Love meetup group in Seattle, Washington. The goal was simple: To respond to and begin healing the world-wide loneliness epidemic by bringing people together and teaching- by experiences- how to connect more fully with self and with others. The movement has expanded to over 66 groups around the globe lead by trained ACL Chapter Leaders and in 2018 became a Washington State nonprofit, Awareness, Courage and Love Global Project.
