The Cambridge and District Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and providing shelter and comfort to the needy animals of the Cambridge and District community in Ontario, Canada. The Cambridge and District Humane Society (an OSPCA affiliate) cares for homeless dogs, cats and other animals in need of temporary shelter. It looks for suitable new homes and provides education to the community on how to care for the newly adopted pet. The Humane Society responds to and investigates allegations of cruelty to and neglect of animals.
