An app / web based intervention in support of severely obese adults participating in a multiprofessional obesity treatment program (PMTO-NEMO-UEM)
The Multiprofessional Obesity Studies Center (NEMO) is a research group linked to the Department of Physical Education (DEF) and the University Hospital of Maringá (HUM), of the State University of Maringá (UEM), which aims to improve and approximate knowledge of various areas of health about multiprofessional treatment of obesity and gather evidence on the risks associated with physical inactivity, overweight and obesity, therefore, on the need for treatment. It also aims to test different models of multiprofessional obesity treatment programs (PMTOs) on a variety of responsive parameters and these programs, thus highlighting their therapeutic and health-promoting effects.
