About: Abjad - I read in Arabic

Abjad is the first Arabic application for learning Arabic reading which mainly targets children at the age of (6-8) years old. It interacts with the users in a real-time manner by prompting them to record their voice while reading. The voice is then instantly evaluated and vocal feedback is provided according the accuracy of the user reading. The main goal of Abjad is to provide the Arabic language learner in general, and primary one children in particular with interactive technology to shorten their learning journey.

Features:
1) The educational environment in Abjad has been built based on 5 psychological and educational studies.
2) Provide many lessons and tests that help the child improve his/her reading.



3) The content of the application is suitable for the child's Arabic and Islamic environment.
4) The ability to add more than one child in one educator account and follow each child's performance.
5) The application’s design is simple accompanied with illustrative pictures, not overwhelmed with too many colors and images, and the font style is clear and readable for children.

1) Second place in Microsoft Imagine club competition for innovative applications in Saudi Arabia – 2018.
2) Best Graduation Project – 2018 in College of Computer Science and information technology – Imam Abdalrahman Bin Faisal University.
