About: GPSRacer - First Real Life GPS Racing Application

GPSRacer is first of a kind real life competing application. It is not a sofa type but adrenaline rush mobile game that pull you out in real world. It is for everyone that is at least a bit competitive and wants to break new records on local routes. Imagine someone showing off and then you as a randomer come and break his record. Unforgettable!

You are not limited to certain usage of transportation system like bike, car or walk, all that matter is how fast can you pass designated checkpoints by someone like you. Could be that parkour runner across the town is faster then someone on bike since his route will be more optimal. Presentation video is coming soon!

For now, you can do the following:



- Create your own route and put it up for competition.
- follow someone else route and beat the time
- overview details of each route

Race with others and you do not have to tell anyone about it! Stay totally anonymous about it and use only your GPS to race with them. You can do it during the day but sometimes it is better at night to avoid rush hour in your area. The only thing you need is mobile phone, capable of receiving GPS and you can start racing!

GPSRacer is still in development so early access is for testing only.

Why are we using permissions:
- Access to external storage - this is where app stores images to optimize download sizes of cached items. For example route image is only transferred once and stored locally so next time it is only shown, not downloaded anymore.
- Access to location - Obviously we will need access or you cannot create or follow any routes.
