Dharani Matriculation Higher Secondary School was founded by the PGP Educational and Welfare Society in 1989 governed by the Governing Council. The School is recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu and is under the jurisdiction of the Director of Matriculation Schools.

Total personality development of the child is the basic aim in establishing this educational institution and, therefore, care is taken to encourage and to provide adequate opportunities to the students to participate in all spheres, such as academic, cognitive, social skills, competencies and imbibe students with values, making them fit to face the challenging world.
