The aim of the AGRO-IDENTITY project is to enhance the competitiveness of agri-food businesses by identifying the authenticity of local traditional products of the islands of the North Aegean and Cyprus, which will result in their commercial exploitation, both domestically and internationally. and in international markets. In this context, it is envisaged to develop a local authenticity label for the local products of the North Aegean with documentation by the competent scientific bodies, as well as the creation of a digital identity to increase the readability and traceability of the products by consumers in Greece and abroad. Similar actions are foreseen for local products in Cyprus.
