Kray Holdings is a microfinance institution in Uganda offering fast loans straight to your mobile phone.

How Kray Microfinance Works
For you to be able to request a loan in Kray you must be onboarded by our field officer or be physically registered in our system.
The customer downloads our mobile app, and we call to ascertain their need and whether they fit into our service profile




If they do we send an appraisal officer who does the appraisal and thereafter we approve and disburse.

Loan Amount 50000 - 5000000 ug Shillings
Loan Period 61 days - 12 Months
Loan Limit 5,000,000

1. Loan application fee is 30,000 ugx
2. Loan processing fees is 7% deductible on disbursement

Loan payments differ by product

1. For a normal loan of 1,000,000

> Application is 30,000
> Processing fees is 70,000
> Loan installment for 6 months is ugx 54,166

>Maximum APR 120%

Sample Loan Calculation

For a borrower who receives Ugx 500,000 and repays after 61 days, they would owe interest of 30% inclusive of all fees.

So Ugx 500,000 ( borrowed amount) + ugx 150,000 ( interest and other fees) = Ugx 650,000 (total payment)

Eligibility

1. Must be a resident of Uganda
2. 18 - 55 years of age
3. Must have a source of income
4. Must have verifiable cash flow
