Gaze Away is a simple app that keeps a track of how long you've used your device during the day. It gives you a historical view of how much time you spend on your device in general. That way you know when enough is enough. When you clearly see how long you've used your phone, you might be more persuaded to leave it aside while you have your meal, or spend time with your significant other.

In the app, you can set periodical reminders which will remind you when you've exceeded the limits that you've set for yourself. Set as many reminders as you want. Just as long as it helps you get time off. Our suggestion, limit yourself to a maximum of 3 hours a day.




Also, the app keeps your data completely private. It just maintains the data on your device, and it does not require any kind of internet connection. So, if you feel worried about data privacy with other apps, well, that won't be a concern for you here. All the data is stored locally on your device and is meant for your eyes only.
