The Sungai Long Golf and Country Club (SLGCC) is a mere just a 15-minutes drive from the city, located in a self-contained township of Bandar Sungai Long , Cheras, Selangor. The Sungai Long Golf Course is Malaysia 's first international championship golf course. Its 18 hole golf course was the first course in the country designed by golf master Jack Nicklaus.

Officially opened in November 1992, SLGCC has undergone major renovations including the upgrading of the entire golf course greens with certified TifEagle - Bermuda grass, Tifdwarf for the tee box and Tifway 419 for the fairways, guaranteed to enhance the challenge for a magnificent golf game.
