According to the Header size and the Branch size in NPS, the branch connection type can be found out.

Header Size in NPS are as follows




48, 42 , 36, 30, 24, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1.5, 1, 0.75, 0.5

Branch Size in NPS are as follows

0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48

The following branch types can be found out for the x axis HEADER SIZE and y axis BRANCH SIZE CHART

- Branch weld w/ Reinforcing Pad ( Pad thickness equals run pipe thickness. Pad width equals 1/2 branch OD.
