Calculation of SMR index (Slope Mass Rating) applied to rock slopes, SMR value is a consequence of the calculation of the Bieniawski RMR multiplied by adjustment factors that is a function of the joint adjustment factor.

It presents the mobile application developed under the Android operating system for the analysis of rock slope stability under the SMR parameter “Slope Mass Rating”.

The results obtained from the field observation are sent to the mobile application that finally resolves the SMR index, once this value is obtained, it suggests to the operator possible engineering solutions that can be applied to the slope under study; how to be methods of protection and / or support and then apply them in reality.




The application makes use of the internal resources of the mobile device to then be able to use them when generating an analysis report in PDF format that is universally used in digital documents.
