My name is Sofia Merzetti and I have a degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition. I earned my bachelor's degree in 2015 at the Campus Biomedico University of Rome, and then continued for another two years, with a master's degree in October 2017.

My goal is to teach my patients healthy eating, teaching them that staying on a "DIET" does not mean not eating anymore, not being able to go out to dinner, but as the etymology of the word suggests diet means lifestyle, and my job is to teach you, through my skills, what is the healthiest and right lifestyle. I mainly deal with overweight subjects, but also with various physiological and pathological conditions, such as breastfeeding, pregnancy, menopause, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, gastritis problems or gastroesophageal reflux.




I always like to quote a phrase from Hippocrates which I believe a lot
"Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food"
because food is like petrol for the car, you have to choose the best!
