UDiscover - Historic Tour

About: UDiscover - Historic Tour

Created by students at the University of Florida, UDiscover is an augmented reality tour of the University of Florida Historic Campus. Beginning at the northeast section of campus at the corner of University Avenue and Thirteenth Street, the application is broken into five areas: Campus Entrance, Historic District, Heart of Campus, Historic Dorms, and Sports District. Each section of campus has 3-4 hidden "triggers" that could be anything from an historic sign to a building facade. When these triggers are scanned with the UDiscover app, they overlay short videos detailing the history of that section of campus. Use the custom Google map on the app's main menu to access clues about trigger image locations.
