NADRA is the National Database and Registration Authority of Pakistan. It is responsible for issuing national identity cards and maintaining a database of citizens' personal information. The NADRA server and database store and manage this information, including biometric data such as fingerprints and facial recognition information. The organization also provides various other services such as issuance of CNIC, Smart ID Card, Family Registration Certificates (FRC), Child Registration Certificates (CRC) and various other services.
