This proposal represents a teaching sequence for teaching and learning of physical chemical properties of carbon. It activities are proposed whose main objective is to identify and implement the physical and chemical of this element properties, allowing it, provide explanations phenomena or macroscopic properties by studying carbon, structure, types of bonds, valence electrons, among other . Through the implementation of activities presented, it is expected to promote scientific thinking skills in relation to knowledge, skills and attitudes against the phenomena to be addressed.
