Motivation:

As Indians who moved abroad for better job prospects we understand the loneliness that comes with living so far from home. The classic swiping dating apps available today do not cater as well to the Indian community living abroad.

While most Indians flourish in their professions abroad, they find it challenging to make local friends in the new country, which is culturally very different from the place they grew up in. Be it the language or the social norms of that country, youngsters need to re-learn a lot of things to mingle with the native people and have a social circle.

We built Finch to bring Indians with similar cultural backgrounds on a common platform to help them find meaningful relationships in a foreign land. We hope to empower the young Indian men and women to independently choose their partner though this app.
